Summer Reading 2026

Join us for our “Unearth a Story” 2026 Summer Reading Program for ages 0–12! This year we’re mixing books, family history, creativity, and a little old-fashioned fun as we celebrate America 250.​ 

We’ll have storytimes, family movies, art projects, drawing fun, and even cursive writing classes so kids can learn to read the kinds of handwriting found in documents from when our country was founded.

Kids can dig into stories from the past, create their own adventures, and keep busy all summer long at the library. Stop by June 6th from 9am to 4pm to sign up and join the fun. The first 100 kids will receive a special summer reading starter kit, so come early before they disappear faster than Goldfish crackers in a minivan. 

Program runs June 8th- Aug 8th
