Intro to Genealogy

Teresa Betz began researching her family history in 1990, when researchers had to visit courthouses, genealogical and historical societies, libraries, cemeteries, and more to conduct genealogical research. She began creating family history books in 1992 and has produced 60 unique genealogy books, ranging from 5 to 15 generations, and has printed over 462 books, with page counts from 111 to 405.

Teresa has proven two ancestors with the Daughters of the American Revolution. She has taken a weeklong class with Blaine Bettinger and completed a seven-week course with Diahan Southard on DNA research. She has attended classes through the Federation of Genealogical Societies, The Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh, and RootsTech, to name a few.
