June 12th: Summer Reading Kick-off Party at Edco Park
Join us at EDCO Park for our summer reading kick off party Saturday, June 12th at 11:00 a.m. featuring Princess Elsa and Captain America! There will be games, a special performance from Elsa, and lunch will be provided!
June 16: Butterfly Garden Walk and Scavenger Hunt
June 16th at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Meet Miss Mickie at Moraine state park to learn about the native butterflies in our area and complete a fun interactive nature scavenger hunt!
Discover Moraine's exciting self-guided trail and learn about the area's native plants and butterflies, some of which are endangered species. Enjoy the pond, bridges, arbor, gazebo and boardwalk as you make your way along the trails. During your hike, look for signs and educational kiosks that explain what you are observing.
June 30th: Living Treasures Field Trip
REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Join us as we explore Living Treasures Animal Park. The library has 55 passes available. First come first serve. One adult and children per family, more can come but will have to purchase passes ($7.99 a piece) at the park. We will be exploring the park from 10-1 please bring a packed lunch.
Storytime Every Thursday
Storytime at Edco Park every Thursday from 11-11:45 except the week of July 4th. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on. In case of bad weather meet at the library.
4-H Food and Farm Event
Join us July 14 from 11-12 at the library for some farm animal fun with 4-H as we learn about farming and where are food comes from!
End of Summer Reading Party!
End of Summer Reading Party August 2nd from 11:30-1:30 at Edco Park!
All rewards earned in beanstack will be chances to win the grand prize basket at the end of summer reading (parents there is a surprise in there for you too)!
